Riteish Deshmukh reveals why wife Genelia feels he is the best villain!

In the past sixteen years of his Bollywood career, actor Riteish Deshmukh has garnered a huge fan base by tickling our funny bones with movies like the Masti franchise, Housefull Franchise, Kya Kool Hai Hum, and Dhamaal franchise. He also made a mark in Marathi cinema as the rugged hero with movies like Lai Bhaari and Mauli.

The 40-year-old actor set a new benchmark for him in Bollywood with Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain, where he played an out-and-out psychotic common man who kills innocent women. With an array of movies like Marjaavaan, Housefull 4, and Baaghi 3 in his kitty, Riteish is all set to impress the audience as well as the critics with his unique acting skills.

Recently, during a promotional spree for his upcoming movie Housefull 4, Riteish opened up about his look as a dwarf in Marjaavaan. While talking to Mumbai Mirror he said, “One day, Milap just said that he wanted to make this film. I’d grown my beard and hair for another film and we worked around the look, adding a tika, a gold watch, and loose pants with oversized shirts. If you ask Genelia (Deshmukh, actress-wife), she will say no one can play a villain better than me, though she has her own reasons to say that.”

The Housefull actor also opened up about his camaraderie with his close friend and co-star Akshay Kumar. He revealed, “When we’re sitting together, we understand the space we are in. Sometimes, when there are people around and we need to say something that should stay between us, we communicate by simply looking at each other. Akshay is a friend and brother who’ll always be there for me and vice versa.”

Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 4 stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, and Pooja Hegde in double roles. The comedy of errors revolves around the story of reincarnation, where all the actors will be seen playing double roles in different era’s i.e. the 15th century and the 21st century. The movie is all set to release on 25th October.
