Rishi Kapoor is in a Crucial State; Ranbir- Alia are Not Getting Married

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been painting the town red for a long time now. Be it attending events or parties or simply spending intimate time at each other’s residence, the lovebirds have been doing it all. Their recent appearance at RK’s cousin, Armaan Jain’s wedding too grabbed attention and hushed whispers about their impending wedding started making rounds during the festivities at Armaan’s marriage.

Also, recently, news about the Kapoor family sending 'Save the Date' invites of their son Ranbir’s wedding, too have been making rounds. A report in Hindustan Times stated that, the new IT coupple of B-town, Ranbir and Alia will be tying the knot after the release of Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama Brahmastra, which also happens to be their first film together, on December 4, 2020. The preparations for their wedding have reportedly started in full swing and their extended families have been asked to save the date.

However, when we contacted a source close to the Kapoors we found out that these stories are fake and that the top priority for the Kapoors is Rishi’s health.

Rishiji has been keeping unwell as we all know. He is in a crucial state and at the moment his health is our (his family’s) top priority. In such difficult times who has the time to send (Ranbir-Alia’s) wedding invites? These reports are baseless.

Well, how much we would love to hear about Ranbir and Alia’s wedding, we do care about Rishi Kapoor and wish him a speedy recovery.

During a previous interview with Indian Express, Mahesh Bhatt was asked about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia’s relationship and to this, he had said,

Well, of course they’re in love. You don’t need to be a genius to get that! I love Ranbir… he’s a great guy. What they do to their relationship is something they’ll have to figure out. Whether it’s heading towards that port called ‘marriage’ — which is an institution that needs to be questioned in the second decade of the 21st century — is something for them to figure out.
