Rhea Chakraborty still part of Chehre? Producer Anand Pandit answers

Rhea Chakraborty was snubbed from the poster of Chehre and also went missing in the film’s teaser. There has been conjecture that the actress is no longer part of the project, but here’s what the producer has to say

A few days ago, the teaser of Anand Pandit’s mystery thriller Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi was released.

While the teaser received good reactions from the audience, it was noticed that Rhea Chakraborty went missing in the teaser. Rhea was also snubbed from the poster of the film and there has been no update about her part in the film.

There has been no mention of Rhea Chakraborty in the film’s promotional campaign as well. When producer Anand Pandit was questioned about the same, he did not give a clear answer and told Mid Day:

“We did not react because we have decided not to talk about Rhea at this moment. We will answer questions regarding her at the right time. At this juncture, there is nothing more I can say.”

So it is still not clear whether Rhea is still a part of the project or not. Chehre is slated to release in theatres on April 9 this year.

Rhea Chakraborty was mired in multiple controversies after the sudden demise of her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She was accused of abetment to suicide and money laundering by the late actor’s family.

Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty were also arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau under several charges related to the drugs case. The duo is currently out on bail.
