Rhea Chakraborty makes an appearance attending Rumi Jaffrey's daughter Alfia's mehendi ceremony

While the year 2020 has indeed been a curse to many where the pandemic continues to unleash its wrath even right now, no one probably had a more tumultuous second half of 2020 than actor Rhea Chakraborty. From being the central focus and apparently the alleged one in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's passing away to being questioned on multiple instances and facing media's wrath, Chakraborty has indeed been through quite a lot.

While things haven't entirely gotten better yet for the actor in terms of her career, she has become a tad more active on social media and is also making appearances. And she did one only yesterday after a while. Director Rumi Jaffery’s daughter Alfia Jaffery’s mehendi ceremony which took place on Sunday was an intimate affair. But Chakraborty and actor Krystle Dsouza made an appearance on the special day. The paparazzi captured their gentle smiles as the stars posed donned in yellow traditional outfits with elegance.

Incidentally, as of now, Chakraborty's last appearance in a film continues to be in the film Chehre which has been directed by Rumi Jaffrey. The trailer released back in March and the film had an April release but the second-wave of COVID-19 spoilt those plans and the film continues to await a new release date.
