Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation has uncovered Bollywood’s darkest secrets and the case continues to see the unfolding of shocking twists with each passing day. While, actress and SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty remains to be the prime suspect in the entire investigation; she is reportedly being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The 28-year-old actress was recently arrested for her alleged involvement in procuring drugs followed by financing and the consumption of marijuana. 

Now, the latest Times Now report stated that a special court, while rejecting Rhea’s bail plea said that there are no reasonable grounds to connect Rhea with drugs.

Rejecting Rhea’s bail plea on Friday the special judge had said that it has to record finding that there are reasonable grounds to believe that an accused is not guilty of the offense. The Times Now report also quoted a detailed order that was made available on Monday, in which the special judge said, “But it is also to be kept in mind that the court does not (have) to consider the material as if it is pronouncing the judgment of acquittal or recording finding of not guilty.”

For the uninitiated, Mumbai sessions court on Friday rejected her application for bail supported by the voluntary statements made by her and other accused, followed by WhatsApp chat records, call detail records, and information recovered from laptops and tablets.

The report also mentioned that the bail pleas were rejected by Special Judge GB Gurao. The court also added that after her release she could tamper with evidence related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Over the weekend, several reports claimed that Chakrabortys are likely to approach the Bombay High Court on Monday challenging the sessions court's order. Yesterday, Rhea’s lawyer Advocate Satish Manshinde issued a statement and mentioned that they are in no hurry to apply for bail.
