#REVIEW: Helly Shah-Rajveer Singh Starrer Sufiyana Pyaar Mera Has Some Soul-Stirring Urdu Shayari's

It's raining new shows on small screen and Star Bharat's newly launched show Sufiyana Pyaar Mera featuring Helly Shah and Rajbeer Singh in the lead roles has been creating a buzz long before its premiere. Writer turned producer Prateek Sharma's show Sufiyana Pyaar Mera is an out and out romantic story set in the background of two Muslim families, the years long animosity between them, hidden motives and a twist in the tale.

What is the story about:

The show starts with Kainaat (Helly Shah) running all over in the Shah House reciting a shayari about herself while feeding the pigeons. As soon as she hears the Azaan, she goes on to help Miyaanjaan for his Wadhu, which introduces her as a typical traditional girl next door. Kainaat is raised to be a proper family girl with morals and values and lives in one of the most prestigious Muslim families of Delhi. Her grandfather fixes her marriage with his NRI elder brother's son Zaroon, who is settled in Canada.

Then enters Zaroon, who is completely opposite to Kainaat, he is modern and likes modern independent girls with opinions. His father forces him to marry Kainaat because of hidden animosity with Kainaat's family. Bound of his father's will, Zaroon heads for Delhi to meet the girl, but here comes the twist in the tale. Zaroon who had rejected Kainaat by just watching her photo falls in love with her the moment he sees her, only to know later that he has fallen in love with Sultanat, Kainaat's look-alike sister.

What we liked:

The show looks really grand and sets the right mood for a typical Muslim household. We loved the shayari in the beginning of the episode and look forward to hear more such beautiful shayaris. The title song of the shows sounds melodious and Helly looks wonderful as Kainaat and Sultanat.

What we didn't like:

The show has nothing new to offer. The story is as cliche and old as DDLJ now. Even the introduction of the male lead has an inspiration from DDLJ. The screenplay is week and though the plot has scope for twists but it's still a very predictable tale.

Verdict:

Watch it for Helly and Rajveer's chemistry and if you are fond of Urdu shayaris and Muslim dysfunctional family stories excite you, you should watch this one.
