#REVEALED: The plot of Sreejita De - Aniruddh Dave starrer 'Untouchables'

Krishna Bhatt is all set to make her directorial debut with a web series titled Untouchables. With an ensemble cast that includes Sreejita De, Anirrudh Dave, Smriti Raj and many others, the series will be a first on the app, Theatre On The Web, which will be introduced in January next year.

We asked her about the crux of the series, and here's what we know about it as yet.

Untouchables is a thriller and a courtroom drama. It is the story of a young girl Natasha, (Sreejita De) who is a surgical intern and is facing great pressure. She is also battling with her ailing brother who is suffering from Tuberculosis (TB).

The story then takes a turning point when someone introduces Natasha to the high end escort business, and tells her about how she can earn money by selling her body. While she is struggling to make peace with the reality, one of her clients is found dead next to her and that's when the story takes an interesting turn.

However, things take an ugly turn for Natasha when people start pointing fingers on her for the murder of her client on the basis that she is an escort. Amidst all the negativity and darkness, a lawyer in the form of Akash Arya (Vikram Bhatt) comes as a ray of hope for Natasha as he is the only chance at her getting acquitted.

Eventually, there is a friendship that builds between them begins where Natasha helps him in getting back to his real life.
