Reel life Jhulan Goswami Anushka Sharma calls the real one a 'Champion' post her match
Anushka Sharma took to her Insta stories and shared a video of Jhulan Goswami from her match as she took a wicket. She congratulated her and also called her a champion.

Anushka Sharma surprised her admirers when she disclosed that she would be making her OTT debut shortly in Jhulan Goswami's biopic Chakda 'Xpress. The actress tweeted a trailer for the flick, which made her fans ecstatic. She would be making her return to the movies with this picture after an almost three-year sabbatical. Well, the starlet has already started her preparation for the movie and has been photographed a few times around the city doing so.
Today, the actress applauded Jhulan and shared a video of her match on her Instagram stories. Anushka Sharma shared the video and captioned it with the word ‘champion’ along with a muscle emoji. She further penned, "Congratulations @jhulangoswami on becoming the joint-highest wicket-taker in ICC women’s world cup history".
For the uninitiated, Jhulan Goswami has been the women's world cup's joint-highest wicket-taker. The International Cricket Council's official Instagram account shared a video of Jhulan taking her record wicket. She and Australia's Lyn Fullston now share the record for most Women's Cricket World Cup wickets.
When the film was announced, Anushka remarked in a statement "It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda 'Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket".
Anushka's comeback to cinema after 2018 is marked by Chakda 'Xpress. Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, was her last film. Following that, the actress spent time with her family and husband, Virat Kohli. Prosit Roy will be directing Chakda Xpress, which is produced by Karnesh Sharma and Anushka Sharma's Clean Slate Filmz. It is slated to release digitally on Netflix.
