Real Life Couple Pankaj Kapur-Supriya Pathak Come Together For ZEE5 Film Happi; Here’s The Launch Date

ZEE5 is one of the emerging OTT platforms of the country and is creating a lot of interesting and refreshing digital content. The platform is now all set to premiere a unique movie called Happi. Directed by Bhavna Talwar, the movie stars Pankaj Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Hrishitaa Bhatt and Nakul Vaid in prominent roles. 

The protagonist in the movie, Happi, is played by thespian Pankaj Kapoor and the plot revolves around a man who is happy with his meagre lot in life. Happi is a man, cast in the Charlie Chaplin-esque mould, who lives life cheerfully, earning only what he needs to sustain living. He sings and dances at Bombay Café, coasting along happily. Trouble brews when the cafe becomes a fancy club, and he finds that he’s no longer needed. A cute pup is his sustenance in a difficult period. What follows is a moving masterpiece of human endeavour and emotions.

The presentation of the movie is in black and white which is quite interesting. 

Music maestro Illaiyaraja has given the music, while Gulzar has penned the lyrics and not just that superstar Kamal Hassan has sung a song for the film.
