'Razzle Dazzle' a comedy about politics, dance and much more

New Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS) After raking in more than $2 million at the box office abroad, Australian comedy 'Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance' is going to set the dancing mood this New Year in India with its release in theatres this Friday.

New Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS) After raking in more than $2 million at the box office abroad, Australian comedy 'Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance' is going to set the dancing mood this New Year in India with its release in theatres this Friday.

Directed by Darren Ashton in 2007, the film is one of Australia's most successful movies and is being released here courtesy NDTV Lumière.

Produced by Jodi Matterson, Andrena Finlay and Al Clark, the 91-minute satire stars Ben Miller, Taylor Anthony, Kerry Armstrong, Anastasia Bertinshaw and Roy Billing in the lead.

'Razzle Dazzle…' is about a serious and politically correct dance schoolteacher Jonathon (Ben) and his academy, The Jazzketeers' efforts to bring home a first-place trophy.

Screened at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival and nominated at the 2008 Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards for Best Actress, 'Razzle Dazzle…' is a touching film with foot thumping appeal.
