Raveena Tandon poses with family and director SS Rajamouli post receiving the Padma Shri award
Raveena Tandon smiled for pictures with her family at the Rashtrapati Bhavan after being awarded with the civilian award Padma Shri.

At a ceremony on Wednesday at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, President Draupadi Murmu presented actor Raveena Tandon with the fourth-highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri. On Instagram, Raveena posted several images from the memorable event along with a caption. It read, "A day of love and celebrations. Padma Shri 2023."
At Rashtrapati Bhavan, Raveena Tandon smiled for pictures with her family. Ranbir Thadani and his father, producer Anil Thadani, wore black formals, while Raveena wore a golden saree with a black blouse. Daughter Rasha Thadani donned a lehenga in black and white. In one of the photos, filmmaker SS Rajamouli and Raveena along with her family, can be seen posing inside Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Draupadi Murmu presented Raveena with her Padma Shri award in the final two photos.
Fans congratulated the actor and swamped the comment section with heart and fire emojis shortly after Raveena posted the pictures. After receiving the Padma Shri award on Thursday, Raveena was seen travelling to Mumbai airport with her daughter and son.
According to the Indian news agency ANI, Raveena Tandon had previously expressed her thanks for receiving the distinction by saying,
“Honoured and grateful. Thank you so much, Government of India, for acknowledging my contributions, my life, my passion and my purpose – cinema and the arts, that allowed me to contribute, not only to the film industry but beyond. I thank all those who guided me through this journey of Art and Craft of Cinema – all those who held my hand through it, and all those who watched me from their place above. I owe this to my father.”
Meanwhile, Raveena was last seen in the film KGF 2 and will also reprise her role in the upcoming chapter.
