Rati Pandey Opens Up on Relationship Status, Plans Ahead & New Role

It is no secret anymore that actress Rati Pandey is all set to be a part of Sab TV's Tenali Rama, where he will be playing an extended cameo of sorts. Recently seen in Star Plus' Nazar, it is only now that Pandey has been frequent in taking up offers where apart before Porus, she was off the screen for a long time.

In a profession where being seen is apparently extremely important, Pandey has been very selective about her projects. Recently in an interview with Bombay Times, she opened up on the same. She mentioned how she does get several offers but rarely does anything excite her. And what she is more concerned about is how she doesn't want to repeat herself. In times where television is stuck between cliche drama and supernatural shows, she doesn't feel spoilt for choices.

Pandey also mentioned how she feels that producers do try new and mature content but it doesn't click. Talking about her long break she said how it has almost become a ritual for her to take breaks between taking up projects. The longest break she took was after Hitler Didi but what was supposed to be a year-long break got extended owing to her health woes. Owing to thyroid issues, she made sure that she heals fine and don't take up work only out of desperation.

On her relationship status, Pandey said she is currently happily single and enjoying her own space. However, she added that she certainly wants to get married and if she gets into a relationship now, it will be for marriage and nothing else as she doesn't want frivolous things in her life. She concluded saying that she won't get married to anyone by just looking at his picture or bank balance but feel happy and comfortable growing old with him.
