Rashmi Sharma's next - 'Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi' on Star Plus..

After the successful run of Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat on Star Plus, Rashmi Sharma's Sunrise Productions is coming up with yet another daily prime time show on the same channel!!
According to our source, "The show is more or less based on the concept of generation gap that prevails in the society between the elder generation and the younger lot. And aptly, the show is tentatively titled 'Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi'". "The story is about a family which is headed by the grand mother (Baa) who has a son and a daughter. In turn, they have their kids who have a different approach to leading life. In other words, the show will focus on the differing attitudes and life styles of the younger generation when compared to their elders", adds our source.
The cast of the show is more or less finalized. "A new guy Krip in all likelihood will be finalized to play the male lead. Ada who was seen in Sony's Palampur Express as Pavni's close friend, Vigya Mishra has also been more or less finalized to play the female lead in the show", informs our source.
The shoot of the show is expected to start from the second week of September. The show will be launching sometime in October, at a prime time slot between 8 PM to 11 PM.
We tried calling Rashmi Sharma for a confirmation, but she remained unavailable.
We could not get any revert from the channel authorities too on the same.
Rashmi Sharma is currently producing Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chaaon Mein for NDTV Imagine, in addition to the ongoing Star Plus show, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat.

The condition SPs primetime shows are having in overall tellywood, that i dont think its prestigious anymore to have shows there.so, Reshmi Sharma can go forward with her new show...why should i care? RKAB is dead and this new show will be dead too. but why SP is giving her that chance....Sp should book Rajan shahi shows for whole of primetime(though i am not interested in his shows)

This woman kept mum when RKAB was thrown in afternoon slot may be SP promiaed her that they would give her primetime slot for her another show. Hope your show became big flop show. All your work go to drain and noone will agree to work with you. SP and Rashami Sarma match made in haven.

hey rashmi u r extremely stupid,idiot,etc etc etc.in order 2 start new programmes why r u ruining old ones.and sp your selection is disgusting.how can u put serials like rkab in 2pm slot for shows like mitwa.akk,sgjh.u'll have to pay for it soon. pray that all your programmes go super flop. with lots of bad wishes lovers of kanjali.

SP and Ms. Sharma...what a combination!! With what they have done to RKAB, I really don't look forward to this show. it will start on a promising note n gradually characters will disappear without any trace, the main lead will become spectators n behave like fools, the cameos will get more prominence than the main characters....everything will be ruined with passage of time. If Ms. Sharma knew how to build n maintain bridges with the audience, we would have faith in her capability as a producer. I have more trust in Mr. Shahi even though I don't watch his shows regularly... Learn to respect the audience Ms. Sharma if you want them to develop trust in you and don't treat us like bunch of fools!

Hope this new show goes to drain. That is what this R Sharma n SP deserves. How this woman start another show on SP after RKAB got such a bad treatment. Other channels are really good and using feed back properly. Hope all new shows and reality shows on SP fails.
