Rashami Desai on Working with Sidharth Shukla Again: Definitely I'll work if any good project & Script comes in!

We got in touch with Actress Rashami Desai in a fun and candid conversation where she spoke to us about spending her time in quarantine, her new talk show, working with Sidharth Shukla and much more. Have a look:

Speaking about spending her time in quarantine, Rashami said,  “I am trying to do a lot of new things. If I get a little time for myself, I’ll start learning a new form of dance. But honestly, I don’t get that much time.”

She also talked about her new chat show, ‘The RD Show’ and her experience. She shared, “That’s a very different genre for me to explore. I am having a lot of fun. It’s fun to talk to people and get to know them and how they are dealing with the situation, and everyone has their own different ways.”

Talking about exploring something new about herself amid quarantine, Rashami said, ”I used to feel that I can only work outside and I cannot work or sit at home for such a long time. I also felt that it would be very difficult for me because you are constantly working. My life, my world and lifestyle has been very different from my family and other friends, they all are from different fields. This was very challenging for me. Being a part of a reality show is very different from being in reality.”

She also added, “In the past 12-13 years, I think I am for the first time staying with my family for such a long time.”

When asked if she would work with Sidharth Shukla, Rashami said, “Yes, definitely I’ll work if any good project comes in and if the script is good. I have never said no regarding work. We both are very professional when it comes to work.” 

Rashami was asked if she watched Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana’s song ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’, to which she said, “I watched the song, I really liked the song with Himanshi, it was quite soothing also.” 

She also spoke about her bonding with Nia and missing the sets of Naagin. She shared, “My bond just started with Nia and it is fun to work with the entire crew of Naagin. I knew Vijay before Naagin and it is so fun to work on the Naagin sets.”

We spoke to Devoleena about the entire controversy and she talked about how Rashami has been receiving so much backlash for supporting her friend. To this, we asked Rashami if now because of this does she think a lot before posting her opinion on social media or not. To this she said, “I don't think too much about people who don’t matter to me. You must have heard the audio clip, it is very shameful to write that about someone’s family. I genuinely don’t care, if you’re being abusive, it shows their class. I don’t entertain such nonsense, I don’t pay attention because they are nobody.”
