Raqesh Bapat volunteers to serve at a wildlife treatment center; asks his fans to join him

Actor, sculptor & entrepreneur whose business is built on the foundation of promoting sustainable living & generating employment for women - self-help groups has an interesting idea to bring his fans together for a good cause. 

Raqesh Bapat who was last seen in a romantic music video is busy prepping for his next & has extended an open invitation to his fans to get to join him for an activity this November. Raqesh has joined hands with RESQ's wildlife treatment center in Pune, a place that attends to wildlife emergencies, large animal calls & technical rescues of all kinds - which meant rescuing animals stuck in difficult spaces or disaster situations. 

Raqesh excitedly shares, 'I wanted to connect & support a cause where there was hands-on work being done for animals! I was blown away by the care going into the 200 animals under treatment & rehabilitation there. One of the founders, Neha Panchamia showed me around & I really got to understand how wild animal rehabilitation is so different.' 

Calling all his fans, Raqesh has quite a proposal, 'I am going to dedicate a full day there this month as a volunteer. If anyone wants to join me, send me a message on my Instagram. Besides volunteers, what they really need are space heaters, towels & blankets since it is getting really cold out there. My primary idea is to rescue & release.' 

We love that Raqesh has set out to actually make a change, a change that everyone talks about but only a few follow the path.
