Ranveer-Alia starrer Gully Boy ENTERTAINS as well as INSPIRES

Gully Boy takes you to a known but undiscovered world. While Ranveer and Alia stand out as the best performers debutante Sidhanth Chaturvedi impresses too (4/5)...

Gully Boy directed by Zoya Akhtar is an inspiring story of a boy who fights off his poverty to realize his dream of being a rapper. This film is a journey of a common boy and his struggles to become an extraordinary rapper.

Ranveer Singh has dipped himself in the character and his performance is surely one of his best. Sharing screen with an energetic Ranveer is not easy but Alia proves that she can take off any role easily.

While Ranveer and Alia stand out as the best performers, debutante Sidhanth Chaturvedi impresses too.

An amazing direction by Zoya and some powerful dialogues written by Vijay Maurya makes the movie perfect.

Best raps and music match up perfectly to the strong plot of the film. Rap battles in the film are a treat to watch.

Each song gives you goosebumps and it describes each and every situation. The film takes you to a known but undiscovered world which has never been explored in mainstream Bollywood.

Overall the film is surely worth watching as it not only entertains but inspires too.
