Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen sharing the screen for the first time in Zoya Akhtar's directorial Gully Boy. They wrapped up the film earlier this year and the first look of the film was intriguing. Ranveer and Alia shot for the film in Mumbai and Ranveer has even rapped in the film. The film is based on rappers Naved Shaikh aka Naezy and Vivian Fernandez aka Divine's life.

As per a report in Spotboye, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have three kissing scenes in the film. The film also stars Kalki Koechlin, and Ranveer & Kalki have filmed two kissing scenes. The film will release on Valentine's Day next year. Ranveer had talked about the film in an interview earlier this year and had said that the film is very dear to him as he feels strongly for the characters who are marginalised people from the lowest strata of the society. They have however found their expressions as artists, he had said.

Ranveer said that street rappers who are 18-19 years old are writing social commentaries and are expressing it through their music.

The film has been selected at the Berlin International Film Festival. Ranveer shared his excitement and had tweeted a few days back, "Delighted!!!...#GullyBoy has been selected by the Berlin International Film Festival for a special gala screening!!! Ow Oww!!! #ZoyaAkhtar @aliaa08 @ritesh_sid @FarOutAkhtar"
