Ranveer Singh SLAPPED 24 times by this Veteran Actor

Ranveer Singh is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, "Padmavati". And as always, the actor is leaving no stone unturned to put in his sweat and blood for his character and for that he didn't even mind getting slapped hard across his face not just once but 24 times!

Yes, you heard that right! Ranveer just revealed that he got slapped 24 times by veteran actor Raza Murad who is playing the character of Jalaluddin Khiljee in "Padmavati".

For a particular scene, Raza Murad was supposed to slap Ranveer Singh. But, while they were shooting for the scene, to get the accurate shot, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, made both of them do several retakes. To be precise, they enacted the scene 24 times and by the end of it, Ranveer Singh was left with a red face.

Confirming the news, RS took to his twitter and shared the snapshot of a newspaper cut out carrying the same news and captioned it as, "True story! #Padmavati".

"Padmavati" is, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Raza Murad's third outing together. Previously, the team had worked together in "Goliyon Ki Rasleela - Ram Leela" and "Bajirao Mastani".
