Ranveer Singh praises his ‘baby girl’; calls the Gehraiyaan trailer ‘moody, sexy and intense’

Ranveer Singh has reacted to Deepika Padukone's Gehraiyaan trailer, which was released on Thursday. The actor described it as "moody, sexy, and intense," while also expressing love to his "baby girl." 

Ranveer wrote on Instagram, sharing a Gehraiyaan picture of Deepika, "Moody, sexy and intense!!! (fire icons) Domestic noir? Sign me up! All the favs @shakunbatra @ananyapanday @siddhantchaturvedi @dhairyakarwa Naseer the Legend! and my baby girl looks like a Fazillion buxxx (tongue out icons) @deepikapadukone, produced by the sexiest of them all @karanjohar (wink emoji)."

Deepika Padukone, along with many celebrities Ayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, and Neha Dhupia 'liked' the post. Ananya responded to Ranveer's post, "You're the fave,"."Bhai with a heart emoji" said Dhairya Karwa, who plays Deepika's boyfriend in the film. In addition, Siddhant Chaturvedi left a heart icon in the comments section. 

Gehraiyaan, directed by Shakun Batra, is a film about complex modern relationships starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa. 

At the virtual trailer launch, Deepika stated that on-screen intimacy is difficult to achieve and thanked filmmaker Shakun Batra for creating a safe environment on the sets. For the first time for a big Bollywood movie, the director hired Dar Gai as the intimacy director for the film.

Deepika also spoke about on screen intimacy at the trailer launch.

Shakun gave me and all of us the comfort, you feel safe and secure because intimacy is not easy. It is not something that we ever experienced or explored in Indian cinema before in a way we have in this film. So, to go down that route of intimacy and vulnerability is possible when you know the director is not doing it for eyeballs. Because that is where the characters are coming from, their experience and journey. It is possible when you feel safe and secure in the environment,
