We had earlier reported that Deepika Padukone has been paid a huge amount for her upcoming film 'Padmavati'. Her pay is more as compared to what Ranveer Singh is drawing.

Usually, in the industry the lead actors are paid more as compared to the lead actresses. But, looks like this tradition has been reformed by the team of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial.

Reportedly, Ranveer has admitted that Deepika has been paid more than him for the film.

During an interview with a popular daily, when Ranveer was asked if he was paid lesser than his co-star and alleged girlfriend Deepika, he said: "Let me put it in this way, if I am the leading man of a film, and if the filmmaker is asking me to support him in a certain aspect so as not to burden the budget of the film, I will do whatever I can to support his vision." (sic)
