By far one of the most awaited films of 2020, Deepika Padukone’s home production, Chhapaak is all set to release this Friday. Chhapaak which has created quite a lot of buzz, owing to it’s real life inspired story as well as Deepika Padukone’s most recent appearance at the JNU protest makes it quite interesting for us to see how the film opens at the box-office. But before that happens, as B-town always does, the team of Chhapaak hosted a grand premier tonight with it’s leads and many popular faces walk the carpet before watching the film, making it all the more tough for us to wait to watch the film.
Here’s taking a look at who all attended the event and how….
The brave lady, Laxmi Agarwal on who the film has been based. Laxmi attended the red-carpet do in a lovely red silk saree.
The protagonist of the film, Deepika Padukone wore a dazzling midnight blue, sequence replete saree and matching choli. She coordinated her eye makeup with the colour of her outfit.
Director, Meghna Gulzar came in with four other acid attack survivors. Along with Meghna all the girls also made an ethnic wear statement.
The male protagonist of Chhapaak, Vikrant Massey also attend the event. He chose a moss green jodhpuri outfit.
Deepika' hubby, Ranveer Singh sported a double breasted suit. Ranveer made quite a statement with that moustache.
Ranveer Singh's little sister, Ritika Bhavnani also attended the red-carpet premier of the film. Ritika chose a quirky pussy bow shirt and ivory suit for the event.
Rekha stayed true to her style in a gold kanjivaram saree, finished with her classic on-point ethnic glam game.
Bollywood's most loved fashion designer, and the creator of DP's sequence replete saree that she wore tonight, Manish Malhotra in a bomber and match shoe game.
Yami Gautam came in a casual chic look. A printed black tee and black bottoms, styled with a YSL bag and neoprene pumps.
Tahira Kashyap, brought some fusion style to the event. She slayed a cotton suit in powder blue clubbed with a multi coloured dupatta.
