Ranveer Blames Deepika for his Late Arrival at Press Con: Wife takes a Sly dig at Hubby!

Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Katrina Kaif officially announced the trailer of their upcoming film - Sooryavanshi. Although, the stars had to wait for 40 minutes as the Simmba star was running slightly off-schedule. 

Akshay, Katrina, and Ajay's sarcastic applaud put Ranveer to shame and he immediately apologized followed by sit-ups.  

Ranveer was schooled by Akshay and Ajay for his late-coming and Akki took a sly dig of his seniority and said that Ranveer is the only junior actor who has kept all of the senior actors waiting for 40 minutes.

The Simmba actor tried to defend himself by making excuses as he also blamed Deepika as he complained that his wife stays in town. Furthermore, he blamed metro construction for his late arrival to which Ajay asks Ranveer why only he was affected by it, and not the rest of them. 

Now, Deepika has an epic response to Ranveer’s excuse. She commented on a video shared on Instagram. She wrote, “Biwi town mein rehti hai, par time pe pohunch jaati hai (The wife stays in town but always reaches on time).”

The event was hosted by Ashish Chachlani and in a post shared by him on his Instagram page in which Ranveer was seen profusely apologizing for reaching late but Akshay was in no mood to listen to his excuses.
