Ranveer and Deepika finally come together for their first film after getting married

The chivalrous and witty Jodi - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are truly a pair made in heaven. Their love for each other is incompatible and it seems they are totally made for each other. Ranveer-Deepika tied-the-knot last year in 2018 and they still seem to be in their honeymoon period.

Ranveer-Deepika are known to keep their professional and personal life apart. Recently, the actress wrapped up her first production venture, Chhapaak. Whereas on the other hand, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing former Indian skipper Kapil Dev and he has been prepping up for quite some time now.

But, now there have been interesting developments in the film’s cast as Deepika has reportedly revealed to be part of Kabir Khan’s ‘83. According to the reports from Times Now the 33-year-old actress said, "I am so glad that Kabir (Khan) came to me with it. This happened a couple of months ago when he was still casting the boys for the film. It’s just that I was busy with Chhappak and we were waiting for the right moment to make the announcement."

Deepika was also asked if the chemistry between her and hubby Ranveer would change, to which the actress said, "When you are in the business of movies, you are playing a character. Of course, all of this is yet to play out, but at the end of the day, you are essaying a role, and at that point, you are not thinking whether your co-actor is your husband, brother or someone you know closely. All you try to do is, be honest in that moment." 

"The personal equation doesn’t spill over into the workspace. I can’t think of anyone else who could do justice to the role (of Kapil Dev), but if there was someone else playing him in the film, and not Ranveer, I would still do my part. This isn’t coming from a personal equation, but from my passion and enthusiasm for the film," she added.

The actress is also said to co-produce this Kabir Khan directorial and is slated to hit the big-screens on April 10, 2019.
