Rani Mukherjee’s sister-in-law Jyoti Mukhejee bags Colors’ ‘Durga Aur Charu’

With so much happening in the world of television, we continue to do our best and present fresh updates in the world of entertainment. And if there is one form of news that gets the fans most excited for, it is learning about new entries and faces being roped in for an upcoming and awaited show.

We know Colors' much-loved show, Barrister Babu is returning with a second season called ‘Durga Aur Charu’. India Forums broke the news about actress Vaishanavi Prajapati joining Aura Bhattnagar to play Anirudh-Bondita’s daughters in the show.

The promo of the show is already out and the ardent fans of the show is excited to see how Anirudh-Bondita’s legacy have been taken forward in the show. The promo featured Aurra and Vaishnavi’s introduction. Now, India Forums has learned that actress Jyoti Mukherjee who’s known for her stint in her previous show ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’ has been roped in to play a prominent role in the show. Jyoti is ace Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee’s sister-in-law.

From the previous season, only Aurra and Chandan Anand (Anirudh’s father) have been retained for this season.

‘Barrister Babu’ was produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. The show had a stellar star cast including actors like Aura Bhatnagar, Pravisht Mishra, Pallavi Mukherjee, Rishi Khurana, Sadiya Siddiqui among others. Anchal Sahu played the grown up Bondita in the show.
