Koffee with Karan always brings out the badass side of celebrities. KJo, the host of the show, gets pretty candid with the B-town celebrities. And that is why the celebs get into their comfort zone and get all funny and sassy. Here’s a look at some of the most savage and wittiest moments from the show’s season five.

1. Sohail's comment on the 100th episode

The three Khan brothers - Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail’s episode marked the 100th episode of Koffee with Karan. They were at their candid best and also indulged in self-deprecating humour.

Sohail explained how poetic it was that they had been invited for the 100th episode as Salman is the '1' in the '100' while Arbaaz and Sohail represent the two zeroes.

 2. The Accent Story

There was a time when the two Bollywood leading ladies, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra, were not on the best of terms, to say the least. The cold vibes between the two began after their film, Aitraaz (2004).

Shots were fired when Kareena once made fun of PeeCee's accent on the show. She had said, "Where does she get that accent from?"

And as a response to her, PC being sassy as ever, smoothly retaliated, "The same place where her boyfriend gets it from." This was a direct jibe at Saif, who had studied abroad. And later in 2019, they both got together on the couch! In 2019, they both shared the Koffee couch and killed it! 

 3. Kangana's take on nepotism

Before 2017, we didn't even know that the word 'nepotism' existed; at least not in the way we hear it today. All thanks to Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut, who brought this up during one of KWK’s episodes in season five. 

Bold and fearless, Kangana, who takes open challenges with Bollywood biggies, never minces her words and says what she wants to. She called Karan Johar as the 'flagbearer of nepotism' on his show and did so quite politely. That’s not it, mid-way she also declared that Karan has ‘verbal diarrhea’. This was the episode where she was accompanied by Saif Ali Khan, her Rangoon co-star. 

 4. Twinkle’s title to the book of Bollywood – ‘From Tentacles to Testicles.’

It seems like there is some different ingredient used for coffee at Koffee with Karan as it makes celebs speak out the candid things which they would have never said even to make the movie do better. In season 5, Twinkle Khanna, who made her debut on the talk show, made one savage statement! When Karan asked to suggest the title of the book she would like to name related to Bollywood, she suggested ‘From Tentacles to Testicles.’ She appeared on the show with her beloved husband, Akshay Kumar. 

 5. The porn talk – Ranbir and Ranveer

These two shared the couch and oh, what fun! Ranveer’s take on love and sex was simple - for him, sex is much better when there’s love involved.

Ranbir said - ‘Casual sex is very similar to masturbation. It’s worse than masturbation.’ Then Karan asked him where porn plays a part... And suddenly, out of nowhere, they started talking about porn!

Ranbir said - ‘Porn is unhealthy. It’s too violent and dark.’ and Ranveer told him that he was watching the wrong kind of porn! And Karan asked him if he was watching Japanese porn?!

Ranveer asked Ranbir when he last watched porn and he told him that he watched it the day before! ‘Jis thaali pe khata hun, usi mein thookta hun’ he said...

6. Ranveer nailed it and how!

During the same episode with Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer was asked in the rapid fire round – “If you were stuck in an elevator with Anushka, Deepika and Katrina, what would you do?”. To which he replied “I’d gossip about Ranbir Kapoor”. 

 7. Twinkle got some cold answers! 

One of the sassiest, funniest guest on Karan Johar’s chat show, Twinkle Kahnna, made her debut on the couch in 2016, with her husband Akshay Kumar! 

KJo asked Twinkle “What’s the meanest thing someone has said about your writing?” to which she replied – “When you started writing, people said Karan is the new Mrs Funnybones. I didn’t want my standards to go so low”

Yes, she owned Karan!
