Ranbir reached out to Alia's Dad Mahesh; Asked him for his daughter's hand for Marriage

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are touted to be one of the cutest couple in B-Town. Be it their public outings or their PDA (public display of affection) on the sets of their upcoming film Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji, the duo has been making headlines for a long time now.

This time, it's the rumors about their impending marriage that have been making rounds now.

Reportedly, Ranbir has officially approached Alia's father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and asked him for his daughter's hand for marriage. A report in Mumbai Mirror states that, Ranbir took the first step to make the relationship official when he went to have a formal talk with Mr. Bhatt. Post their meet, it's now been speculated that owing to their steady relationship their wedding might take place in 2020.

Also, recently, when Alia and Ranbir went to meet Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in New York, there were reports that the two might be walking down the aisle soon after Rishi returns India.

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir are gearing up for Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy and is all set to hit the silver screens in summer 2020.
