Ranbir Kapoor to play 'sardar salesman' in next film

New Delhi, May 5 (IANS) After Bollywood star Akshay Kumar flaunted a beard and a turban in blockbuster 'Singh Is Kinng', Ranbir Kapoor is set to don a similar look for a Yash Raj Film titled 'Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year'.

New Delhi, May 5 (IANS) After Bollywood star Akshay Kumar flaunted a beard and a turban in blockbuster 'Singh Is Kinng', Ranbir Kapoor is set to don a similar look for a Yash Raj Film titled 'Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year'.

'Rocket Singh...' is a comedy about the current economic scenario and Ranbir plays a salesman, said a press release.

The film marks the coming together of director Shimit Amin and writer Jaideep Sahni, who churned out blockbuster 'Chak De! India', which had Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

The movie is set to release in December this year.
