Ranbir Kapoor pays a tribute to dad Rishi Kapoor on his wedding day by wearing his watch

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are the newest married celebrity couple. Everyone's attention is on them, and everybody is only chatting about the couple. The celebrities married on April 14, and the Highway actress revealed her wedding on social media with some enchanting pictures of herself and the Sanju actor that had everyone in awe. 

Everything, right from Alia's simple no-makeup look to the matching outfits of the couple gained attention. The actor wore his late father Rishi Kapoor's expensive watch, which drew a lot of attention.

On his wedding day, Ranbir Kapoor wore Rishi Kapoor's expensive watch as a homage to his father. The actor's ivory and gold sherwani was perfectly matched by a wristwatch that belonged to his late father. The watch in question is said to be worth Rs 21 lakh and has an 18kt white gold case with a blue alligator leather strap.

Announcing their wedding on her Instagram handle, Alia had shared, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home in our favourite spot, the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights, and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.”
