Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna start shooting for 'Animal' in Manali

When Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna came to Manali this week to start shooting Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film Animal, they were greeted warmly. With his first directorial effort, Arjun Reddy, the filmmaker produced a phenomenon, and with its Hindi version, Kabir Singh, he achieved a far greater smash. For the first time, he will be partnering with Ranbir Kapoor on an action film.

Bhushan Kumar and Pranav Reddy Vanga will produce the film on T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.

The film has begun shooting in Manali, with the first schedule beginning with a pooja ceremony. As soon as Ranbir and Rashmika arrived in the hills, they were greeted with Himachali hats. Animal will star Ranbir Kapoor in a role he has never played before. In fact, the actor is said to have had a makeover for the film.

Animal is a pan-India project that will be launched mostly in Hindi and south Indian languages. The film recently experienced a major change as Parineeti Chopra, who was scheduled to portray the female protagonist, declined the movie. 

According to some reports, it is stated that Parineeti is going to work with Imtiaz Ali for the first time in her career as the heroine in the ace director’s next, Chamkila. It is a huge moment for her because she has always wanted to creatively collaborate with the visionary director.

Well, we are equally excited as the fans are going to see Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna together on the big screens for the first time.
