Rana Daggubati Attacked with Nepotism Charge; Hits Back like a Boss

The Baahubali fame and Telugu superstar, Rana Daggubati often becomes prey to trolls and nasty comments on social media. After being slammed with ‘skinny comments’, the actor has been charged against nepotism. 

For the unaware, Rana is the son of Telugu producer Daggubati Suresh Babu, who owns the mighty banner, Suresh Productions. His paternal grandfather was Tollywood Moghul D. Ramanaidu. His paternal uncle is Telugu superstar Venkatesh and his cousin is new-age Telugu star Naga Chaitanya.

For apparent reasons, Rana was subjected to the nepotism row and a social media user lashed out at his recent article in a newspaper that read: "I had failed class 10, but that did not discourage me from following my dreams."

Reacting to the same, a troll shared the picture of the article and wrote: "Because my family owns a production house and a big ass studio. LOL."

Rana had quite a savage reply to the troll as he replied back saying: "Follow your Dreams even if the world tells you. You're a failure!!.”

Well, that’s quite a clever one by the actor!

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rana will be seen in the Bollywood film 'Haathi Mere Saathi.’ The movie is a tribute of sorts to the late legendary actor Rajesh Khanna but will have an entirely fresh storyline. Besides Rana Daggubati, the film also stars Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles, and is slated to release on  2 April 2020.
