Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj’s Wedding Dates Revealed! Find out below

Last month, south superstar Rana Daggubati gave his fans a sweet surprise when he made his relationship with Miheeka Bajaj public. The couple hosted a Roka ceremony on May 21 in presence of their family members at Rana’s grandfather’s (Daggubati Ramanaidu) Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.

The pictures from the Roka ceremony went viral on the Internet and the couple looked decked up in happiness. While Rana knew Miheeka for a long time, he decided to get married to her only before the lockdown. "She was Ashritha's (Venkatesh Daggubati's older daughter) classmate and I knew her for a long time. However, the decision to get married happened pre-lockdown. It's the first time I thought I will get married. That means she did something to me, right? I went with the flow," Rana told Lakshmi Manchu in an Instagram live chat.

Earlier, Rana’s father, Suresh Babu had said that their wedding might happen in December this year. But now the wedding dates are revealed! Rana and Miheeka will be tying the knot on August 8.

Suresh Babu confirmed the dates to Deccan Chronicle and stated that Rana and Miheeka will get married on August 8 in the presence of both their families. He further said that the ceremony will take place according to the guidelines set by the government to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Besides, talking about how he proposed to Miheeka, Rana said, “She knew where I’m getting at when I called her. And then she met me in person, that’s it. I remember I said a bunch of things together. For me, it was serious. It was commitment. When I met her, that’s the time I felt I am ready to do this. It was that simple, for real.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rana will be seen next in Prabhu Solomon’s multilingual film titled Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi, Aranya in Telugu and Kaadan in Tamil. The film was slated to hit theatres on April 2 but has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
