Raksha Bandhan trailer out: Akshay Kumar's journey as a doting brother will strike an emotional chord

Akshay Kumar is back in the news with an all-new and exciting flick to continue his marathon of movies on the big screen. Titled 'Raksha Bandhan', the film is a family drama directed by Aanand L Rai that stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles.

Now the film's trailer has been out and it will strike the emotional chord of all the siblings out there. The trailer depicts the journey of a brother whose sole purpose is to marry off all of his sisters in order to marry the love of his life. This difficult journey packed with emotions, heartache, and true bonds will leave you in tears.

Earlier today, Akshay had also shared a new poster of the film giving a peek at all of his reel life sisters from the film.

Raksha Bandhan is all set to hit the big screens on 11th August. It will face a box-office clash with Aamir Khan's film Laal Singh Chaddha. 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, is the official Indian remake of Tom Hanks' classic Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump.' Kareena Kapoor, Chaitanya Akkineni, and Mona Singh star in the film.

Talking about Akshay Kumar professional front, he was last seen in the film 'Samrat Prithiviraj' which didn't do well at the box office. Next he has films like 'Ram Setu', 'OMG 2' and 'Mission Cinderella' in his kitty.
