Rakhi Special: Anupamaa actress Muskan Bamne speaks about her reel and real-life brothers Aashish and Krish

One of the most awaited festivals, Rakshabandhan is here! The festival is celebrated with a lot of zest in our country wherein sisters tie rakhi on their brother’s wrist while brothers promise them to have their backs for their sisters. The sisters also get gifts from their brothers making the rituals more exciting.

Star Plus show ‘Anupamaa’ has been successful in beautifying many relationships. One of them surely is the brother-sister bond. Pakhi’s bond with Toshu and Samar is quite amazingly portrayed. Even offscreen, Pakhi played by Muskan bonds well with Toshu (Aashish Mehrotra). India Forums got in touch with the actress to know more about her bond with her reel brother.

Muskan said, “Well, I share almost the similar bond with Aashish as Pakhi- Toshu share. Offscreen as well, Aashish has been very protective of me. We clicked from the first day itself. I remember him coming upto me and telling me that he will be playing my on-screen brother. From that moment itself we clicked and it’s nice to have him on the sets. I often end up taking his suggestions and he always helps me with his expertise. He is quite into fitness and hence I often ask him about fitness and workout regimes. He guides me through”.

Muskan has a real-life brother as well named Krish Bamne. We asked her about her bond with him, she said, “Oh, it’s quite fantastic. Although I’m the elder sibling, my brother takes care of me as if he is elder and I’m younger to him. He teases me often but I can count on him whenever I need him”.
