With music videos being in trend, many celebrities are venturing into it. The latest party song ‘Lockdown’ featuring Salman Shaikh and Rakhi Sawant has released and has been getting brilliant reviews. India Forums got in touch with ‘Madam Sir’ actor Salman Shaikh and asked him about the song, shooting with Rakhi Sawant and more.

We asked the handsome lad if he was nervous shooting for the song, Salman answered, “Well, I wasn’t really nervous as such. But yes, I always try to do a better job than my previous project. So, I give that much pressure to my mind, so that I can perform better”.

On working with Rakhi Sawant, Salman added, “It was great fun working with Rakhi. She lights up the frame. He has an aura. It’s very difficult to match up with her moves and energy. Apart from being a phenomenal artist, she is also a great human being. When I first met her, she greeted me very warmly. Initially I had doubts of how things will turn out to be as Rakhi has been in the industry since a long time and has given many hit songs. But to my surprise, she had no air about anything and she behaved very humbly with me”.

He added, “I was very excited to shoot with Rakhi given the fact that she has done popular songs with almost everyone I admire like Govinda, Irfaan Khan, Shahrukh Khan etc. So, I was looking forward to working with her”.

For his love for music videos, Salman said, “I really love music videos and look forward to doing more of them. My previous music video was with Erica Fernandes. Talking about my current music video ‘Lockdown’, I feel it’s quite a relatable song. I’m sure many youngsters who couldn’t meet their girlfriends or crushes would relate to the song. It is quite a fun number. I’m sure people will like it”.
