Rajkummar Rao remembers his mother on her death anniversary; says, 'take care of your parents guys'

Rajkummar Rao has always expressed the immense love and respect he has for his late mother. On any of his important occasions, he remembers her and takes her blessing along the way. Today, marks the death anniversary of his mother. Raj took to his social media handle and shared a throwback picture of hers.

 Along with that, he also penned a heartfelt message in the caption that read, "It's been 7 years Maa. Miss you today.. Miss you everyday but I know you are there with me. Take care of your parents guys. Tell them you love them. ❤️❤️."

Rajkummar Rao once shared an anecdote about how his mother was a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan. He said, When he was shooting for Newton, he learned that she had passed away. She always said she wanted to meet Amitabh once but was never able to travel to Mumbai. So when Mom passed away, he felt awful that he couldn't arrange for her to meet Amitabh Ji. When (she died), he called him right away. He asked Bachchan, sir if he could record a quick video for her, and he would play it for her picture.

On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the film 'Monica O My Darling' and has an interesting lineup ahead. He will be a part of 'Bheed' and 'Sri'. The trailer of the film 'Bheed' is out now and will take you through the dark times faced by the nation and how we fought the gloomy days. The film, also starring Pankaj Kapur, Bhoomi Pednekar, Dia Mirza and others, will be released in theatres on 24th March.
