Rajkummar Rao & Sanya Malhotra's 'HIT-The First Case' goes on floors

With so many films being planned, the idea of on-screen pairing has changed immensely over the years. Newer pairs which include, at times unconventional pairings are being worked with more often which is amazing to see.

On that note, actors Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra are being paired on-screen for the first time for a movie. This time, it's for a Telugu remake.

HIT - The First Case is a 2020 Telugu mystery action thriller film directed by the debutant Sailesh Kolanu that was produced jointly by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni. Telugu Producer Dil Raju who has bought the remake rights of the film and now Rao and Malhotra will be seen in the Hindi version.

The remake version will also be directed by the original director Sailesh Kolanu. 

The HIT original makers have announced the sequel 'HIT: The Second case' starring Adivi Sesh in the lead role. The second part will see the lead Krishna Dev, a police officer of the Andhra Pradesh's HIT team digging into the new case of the franchise, but not a continuation to what happened in the first case.

Rao and Malhotra, while paired on-screen for the first time, have worked together in TV commercials.
