Rajinikanth's recent action blockbuster, "Jailer," has been setting new box office records, nearing the impressive Rs 600 crore mark. Amidst this triumphant success, the iconic actor took an unexpected detour down memory lane, visiting his former workplace, a bus depot located in Bengaluru's Jayanagar area.

For the unversed, before stepping into the world of cinema, Rajinikanth, served as a bus conductor at the Jayanagar Bus Depot Number 4. His journey towards stardom was interwoven with the support of Raj Bahadur, who played a pivotal role in Rajinikanth's early career days, functioning as a bus driver during that time.
While, the transport department officials were caught off guard by the unannounced visit of the illustrious actor to the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation depot. The actor arrived around 11:45 am, spending approximately 15 minutes interacting with BMTC employees. Initially unrecognizable, he stood at the depot's entrance until a staff member finally identified him, leading him inside.
The superstar was accompanied solely by his friend and a driver, all while clad in traditional attire, featuring a dhoti.
The depot, presently employing around 900 individuals, was abuzz with excitement during the visit.
