There have been countrywide protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The disturbing violence and brutality faced by students protesting has been alarming and the startling pictures, videos that have been surfacing online has created havoc amongst people of the nation.

In his tweet, Rajinikanth condemned the use of violence in the protests. “Indian citizens should stand united and aware of the nation’s security and welfare. I am deeply saddened as because of the undergoing violence,” the superstar wrote on his official Twitter handle.
