Rajinikanth receives second jab of Covid-19 vaccine, daughter Soundarya shares picture!

Superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday received the second jab of the Covid-19 vaccine and his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share the photo. Fans were delighted to see their favourite actor healthy and well as he received the jab from a medical professional. 

The Darbar actor returned to Chennai on May 12 after completing a month-long schedule of his upcoming film, Annaatthe, at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Sharing the photo, Soundarya wrote, "Our Thalaivar gets his vaccine Thumbs up Let us fight and win this war against Coronavirus together #ThalaivarVaccinated #TogetherWeCan #MaskOn #StayHomeStaySafe (sic)."

Recently, Rajinikanth is the latest celebrity to receive the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Last month, Rajinikanth reportedly went to Hyderabad for the shooting of his upcoming film, Annaatthe. On April 12, Sun Pictures shared a photo of Siruthai Siva and Rajinikanth conversing on the shooting spot. After completing a month-long schedule, he returned to Chennai on Wednesday, May 12.

Rajinikanth took a chartered flight from Hyderabad and reached Chennai yesterday afternoon.
