Superstar Rajinikanth met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday at his office in Chennai. The Darbar actor made a donation of Rs 50 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund as India battles the second wave of coronavirus. Post the donation, Rajinikanth addressed the media standing outside.
The 70-year-old actor was administered the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine, on Thursday and his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share the photo. Fans were delighted to see their favourite actor healthy and well as he received the jab from a medical professional.
Meanwhile, according to the media reports, Soundarya Rajinikanth, her husband Vishagan, father-in-law Vanangamudi and her sister-in-law visited CM Stalin at his office in Chennai to personally hand over the cheque of Rs 1 crore to him.
"My father-in-law Mr S.S.Vanangamudi, husband Vishagan, his sister and I visited the honourable Chief minister @mkstalin sir this morning to hand over our contribution of 1cr for the chief ministers #CoronaReliefFund from our pharma company Apex laboratories, Makers of #Zincovit (sic)", Soundarya Rajinikanth wrote on her twitter.
Last month, Rajinikanth reportedly went to Hyderabad for the shooting of his upcoming film, Annaatthe. On April 12, Sun Pictures shared a photo of Siruthai Siva and Rajinikanth conversing on the shooting spot. After completing a month-long schedule, he returned to Chennai on Wednesday, May 12.
Rajinikanth took a chartered flight from Hyderabad and reached Chennai yesterday afternoon.
