Rahul Vaidya belongs to the team of Shankar Mahadevan in Star Plus' Music Ka Mahamuqqabla. However, the singer says he can relate with Himesh Reshammiya more, which is the reason why he praised him publicly in one of the episodes.

Rahul says, "I praised Himesh Reshammiya saying that he gives marks instantly without thinking of the consequences. I feel, this reflects the genuineness of his judgment. This is what I said onstage too."

Rahul adds, "Whenever a contestant performs I say to myself 6/10 or 8/10. And whatever marks I give in my heart they match with those given by Himesh, almost ninety percent of the time. This has really made me feel connected to him at some level."

However, he is sad that Shaan interpreted his compliment in a twisted way. He says, "I don't know why Shaan took what I said the way he did. He felt bad it seems. But I apologized to him then and there. But I'm not going to keep on apologizing over it. I spoke something then; I apologized then and there itself."

Audience's voting is improper feels Rahul. "I feel the audience is giving just about any mark to the singers without actually considering for a moment or two if it's proper. I'm unhappy with the voting of the live audience."

So what about the SMS voting that is soon going to be introduced in the show? "It's the decision of the channel and I respect it. I'm not going to achieve anything by mulling over it," signs off Rahul.

u worthless man,dont u name as good singer too,bad attitude u just arguing with shaan who is fav of most indian peoples bec of marks given to u,u deserve the marks wat u got..am damn sure ur fans will start irritating with u bec of ur arguements with judges,shaan showed ur right way and proved ur wrong in pinpointing judges..shamless rahul,cheap behaviour..shaan we all with u and love u..

U Shameless fellows, why the hell do u wanna disrespect a man with a stature so high as Himesh Reshammiya just bcoz any contestant praised him or honoured him......Undoubtedly Himesh is a very unbiased and worthy judge full of confidence wen it comes to judgement

himesh is not alwayz right .....and when it coes to judgement and musical knowledge he stand s to be nowhere in front of shankar ....himesh is jus attitude and nothing ...ya but he has got a strong team ..i beleive that...
