The actress recently represented India at the Emmy Awards and feels ecstatic with the representation and is willing to do more work in this space as the visibility is multifold.
On being asked as to how she completely seeps into the projects and submits to her director so that the outcome is in sync with the vision, Radhika shared,
I really do that, I like that. I like to completely give in and surrender to the director and sort of also find a way to collaborate. There are very few times that you get the opportunity I think, Anurag is one of the friends & one to collaborate I think.- Radhika Apte
Indie star Radhika was nominated for her Lust stories in Emmy's and the camaraderie she shares with her director Anurag Kashyap is remarkable. Last seen in Andhadhun, the actress will be seen essaying the role of a spy, in Apple Tv's upcoming project titled 'Shantaram'.
Apart from that, the actress recently opened up that she used to receive only sex comedy films at a certain phase in her career. Radhika made the comment while speaking at 'We The Women' curated by Barkha Dutt.
She did not fail to mention that she avoids doing projects if she does not agree with the perspective of the movie or the filmmaker. Radhika said people assumed that she played a "seductress" in the movie.
You'd be surprised, I was offered one when I did 'Badlapur' where I stripped because this man wants to rape and kill me but because of that, I started getting sex comedies. Because I stripped and I had done a short film, 'Ahalya', they said 'you are constantly playing the role of a seductress.' I said can you tell me where? They said 'Ahalya', 'Badlapur'. I said there is a huge problem. I would not do any of those things.- Radhika Apte
On the work front, Radhika will also star opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in 'Raat Akeli Hai'. The actress has already completed the Lucknow schedule of the film and fans are looking forward to getting bowled over her exemplary performance.
