R Madhavan's son Vedaant bags five gold medals for India at swimming championship

 R. Madhavan's son Vedaant, won five gold medals for India at the 58th MILO/MAS Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships held in Kuala Lumpur. Madhavan took to his social media handles to share his happiness and posted photos of his son posing with the Indian flag and medals. Madhavan's wife, Sarita Birje, is also seen with Vedaant in one of the photos.

Madhavan captioned the post, expressing his gratitude to everyone who supported his son, "With Gods grace and all your good wishes Vedaant gets 5 golds for India ( 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m and 1500m) with 2 PB’s at the Malaysian invitational age group championships, 2023 held this weekend in Kuala Lumpur. The post received an outpouring of love and congratulations from Madhavan's fans and friends in the industry. Actress Lara Dutta and South star Suriya congratulated Vedaant and his family in the post's comments section.

This is not the first time Madhavan's son, Vedaant, has won big at any tournament; he has been on a winning streak for the last few years and has won many medals and prestigious tournaments.

In February this year, the proud Indian swimmer represented Team Maharashtra at the Khelo India 2023 tournament and bagged five gold and two silver medals.

Talking about Maddy's work front, he has multiple projects in the production phase. One of his upcoming films is Test, which will mark the directorial debut of S. Sashikanth. It is a sports drama in which Madhavan, along with co-stars Nayanthara and Siddharth, will play the lead role.

Apart from Test, Madhavan has also committed to two films produced by Mediaone Global Entertainment. The first is a family drama shot in London and directed by Mithran R. Jawahar. The second is a biopic of Indian engineer Gopalswamy Doraiswamy Naidu, directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar.

In addition to these films, Madhavan has also worked on other projects. He has completed shooting for the Hindi films Amriki Pandit and Hisaab Barabar, as well as the series The Railway Men.
