"The feeling has not sunk in yet" says Sachin Tyaagi

After the rigorous battle of 13 week’s between the ten participating Jodi’s, the show finally crowned its winner today in a very spectacular grand finale show. The Actor-Singer Champion Jodi to walk away with the winner crown is none other than - Sachin Tyagi and Madhushree who beat Varun Badola and Akriti Kakar in a close finish. The public mandate was the decider while the judges rating had just a point difference between the two lead jodi’s.

For Sachin-Madhusree the famous saying – “Bhagwan jab deta hain to chhappad phaarke deta hain” holds so true. Who could have imagined the eliminated Jodi #5 would make a come back through a wild card round; regain its popularity to finally walk away with the much coveted winner title and trophy! Sachin himself is quite happy though the win is yet to sink. “The feeling has not sunk in yet. I still don’t know how to react,” commented Sachin laughing. The time that he spent on the sets was something that would always remain memorable for him. To win this contest Sachin feels he had to really work very hard. “I had worked so hard so damn hard it feels like I was like a labourer for the past 90 days,” says Sachin. And what about his mentor Madhusree? “Madhusree was like a guiding light. It was nice to sing with such a great singer. She used to always guide me and help me out in every round. We shared a fantastic rapport too,” was his prompt reply.

Apart from the winner trophy they take home prize money of 25 lakhs. It is celebration time for the winning Jodi; and we extend our heartiest congratulations to them and wish them many more success in future too.
