"My favorite novels are Glass Castle and Flowing River" - Riddhi Dogra Vashisth

This pretty actress Ridhi Dogra Vashisth talks about her interest and love for novels with TellyBuzz.

Ridhi DograYes, it is Sunday again. The day to get a lot of variation from the regular articles. So this time we thought of getting some interesting facts from our dear actors of the tinsel town.

What's new? We thought of asking these talented actors about their favorite novels they have read and the one's on their wish list. So this time we have Ridhi Dogra Vashisth who was last seen in Life OK's Savitri for this special Sunday feature. But before you read onto what she has to say about her favorite book, we have to tell you'll she is an amazingly awesome avid book lover. While we were speaking to her regarding our feature, she just left us astonished by the choice and kind of books/novels she reads.

Have a look to what this smart lady has to say -

"My favorite novels that I have thoroughly loved reading are Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls and Flowing River by Paulo Coelho. Glass Castle is about a family during American reign. They have lived through all the poverty and have gone through a lot. But the parents have always been very optimistic and taught to always chase your dreams. The daughter wrote this book through her father's point of view. But eventually in the end her father dies.

The Flowing River by Paulo Coelho includes all the articles, short stories and various other writings of his which he had written while he was in different cities of the world. It is a kind of self help book but does not tell us what is needed to do. It is a book that I can gift to anyone. It is extremely motivating and inspiring."

Go on...

"I am half way through to reading Paris of Illusion by Paul Auster but due to something I could not complete it. I am itching to finish the book because it is an amazing one. I have several books on my wish list but to name one is Accidental Prime Minister by Sanjay Baru and Zoya Factor by Anuja Chauhan.

I do not really go author wise, the story should interest me. I started off reading with The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I cannot read the same thing for a long time. There are authors like Khaled Hosseini who are amazing but I cannot take too much of such writings. Even Paulo Coelho is an amazing writer but I find his writing very repetitive. I need a variation in whatever I do. My taste is also like me only - I cannot handle the same thing. I need change (laughs)."

Well Ridhi you truly have an amazing taste when it comes to novels!
