"Married life is beautiful and we should have done it earlier!"

This couple has been married for the last two years but knew each other six years before that. However, despite being together for so long Aamir Ali who was last seen in Hongey Judaa Na Hum and Sanjeeda Shaikh who was last seen in Badalte Rishton ki Daastan still look very much in love as they walk in hand in hand at parties and events. So, who's more romantic between the both of you? While Aamir is guarded as he says, "I don't know... ask her," pat comes the reply from Sanjeeda, "Before marriage it was me but now it is Aamir. He does so many romantic things with me... takes me out for really nice vacations, dinners, organizes my birthday parties, etc. Earlier he never used to do these things like surprises or vacations for me but now he makes an extra effort and so I feel that he has become more romantic now."

The bonding between them is very much apparent as they make appearances or during their performances. What is the most romantic thing that they have done for each other? Both of them agree that is lots of things, not always material. "I like the way Sanjeeda is with me... she is so loving all the time and that for me is being romantic every day." For Sanjeeda it was Aamir's proposal, "For me the most romantic thing that he has done for me is the way he had proposed to me and I still remember it very clearly!"

Elaborating more on it Aamir says, "I went down on my knees and proposed to her the old fashioned way. It was something different for me since I am very non-filmy types and feel very shy doing all these things but then I wanted to make that moment very special for her. I got a ring made and went down on my knees as I proposed to her at a nice restaurant with music and candle light dinner."

And how did Sanjeeda react to it? "I don't remember saying anything special but I said yes' to him." That was a funny moment for Aamir as he remembers, "Yes, she immediately said yes to me and what was funny was that she displayed a range of emotions soon after. She gave some 10-12 emotional reactions like shock, laughter, crying due to happiness, then she thought she will have to leave her own house, she also thought that her dog will not be able to stay with her now and kept on thinking about many more things and all that in a quick short moment... I got scared and thought whether she had fits or what!" jokes Aamir.

However, on a serious note Aamir and Sanjeeda both agree that once married the couple has loved every minute of it. "Guys always crack jokes about marriages but genuinely for me marriage has been amazing. I have had a very good time and I think everyone should get married," says Aamir and Sanjeeda backs him by saying, "I feel we should have done this couple of years back because it is so beautiful."

The couple who was seen in Nach Baliye 3 long time ago has not done any show together on Indian Television but they are waiting for that to happen. "We do want to work together, but what happens is that whenever we get an offer to work together either she is busy or I am busy! We cannot leave our respective shows and start something else so the timing has to be right and whenever the timing is right and the money is right we will definitely want to do a show together."
