Mallika Dua got up, close and personal with us in a candid chat and shared details about the show, about her favorite travel destination and a lot more.

Speaking about the show she said, "I'm highly excited about the new season of the series. This one has a different theme than the previous one. This time The Trip is going to be an accidental one. There's double the fun this time around."

As we mentioned in earlier reports, this time Lisa Haydon won't be a part of the series, instead Amyra Dastur has been cast as the fourth lead of the show. Talking about bonding with her Mallika said, "We missed Lisa a lot as we were like family when we did the first season. But we all bonded with Amyra instantly. When asked whether is it just a story about the four friends and their trip or will the audience get to see individual journeys of characters too, and she quipped, "Yes, primarily the story revolves around the four friends and their accidental trip and the events that follow, but viewers will get to see stories of characters too. It will be a trip of self discovery and you will get to see how the characters' stories develop. I'm sure people will love it."
