Having two years of experience in theater, the Japiur actor Pradeep Jhangid has had an uphill battle to make a mark in this industry.
Earlier seen in episodic shows, the promising actor went on to showcase his talent in Bollywood blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijan as a Pakistani soldier and while he is currently seen in DD National show Ek Lakshya, Pradeep is now gearing up for his next film release - Unfriend.
In conversation with the actor, Pradeep spilled some beans about his aspirations in his acting career.
Pradeep said, "Initially my lingo had a lot of influence of my mother tongue. I am a mechanical engineer but I realized that if there is something I can do with all honesty, it is acting. Holding that thought I moved to Delhi to train into theater and I must say, theater teaches you the 'abc' of acting. It grooms one to modulate their voice and enact the same scene in different ways. When I performed in front of superstar Salman Khan I did not feel nervous at all, all thanks to my practice into theater."
"I am here to make it big into films and I take up television to run my kitchen. Not that I am completely refraining from TV but I do not want to be a part of run-of-the-mill projects. I will only be a part of any show or film, if my character has substance."
Good-luck Pradeep!
