"I regret hurting someone in 2004" - Eijaz Khan

After going through many ups and downs in life, dashing and smart actor of Telly town Eijaz Khan speaks about his relationships, the challenges in hiw life and his character of Vikrant in the show Punar Vivaah Ek Nayi Umeed.

Eijaz Khan the hot and aggressive angry young man on Indian Television who was last seen as Amrit Nigam in Shubh Vivah on Sony TV and now seen as Vikrant in Punar Vivaah Ek Nayee Umeed on Zee TV has seen ups and downs in his life. He is said to be arrogant, aggressive, rude but amidst all he has a warm and caring heart.

Eijaz Khan opens up about his personal and professional life in depth in a candid conversation with TellyBuzz.

After a failed show Shub Vivaah he is seen in Punar Vivaah, so we asked him about the response he is getting from the fans and Eijaz says, "I have supporters who actually love me and support me through my thick and thin. The very same thing happened with me while I was doing Shubh Vivaah, they have always loved me, helped me and supported me to the very core. When I look back and see, I think I have made it in life."

We asked him about his personal attributes and his unpredictable nature for which Eijaz clarified, "I have had my heartaches and have learnt from them. There was a time in my life when I was in Dharmshala and I was finding answers about myself, I was totally heart-broken at one point of time, but I never regret anything apart from one thing which was in the year 2004 when I was completely heart broken and I hurt someone to the core. However, I have learnt about life and now I feel that I have changed a lot. Had I not gone through many things I would have been different in life and circumstances would have been very different in many ways."

Sharing more about his personal life, Eijaz confides, "There was a time when me and my father used to only talk and hug during Eid but now we are best of buddies and best of friends, so who doesn't want all this in a relationship? Of course, I am happy in my life totally."

Talking about his reel life character with respect to real life, "I am very much like Vikrant who is a business man. He is practical and much matured person in life. He loves his son to the core. I am very much aggressive and arrogant because when you shoot for 12 to 13 hours a day you can't actually take things easy, we have to be little practical and my unit members know my nature if I don't like a dress I like to be upfront and tell my members about the same. If I am given 9 scenes in a day, I will happily do it and will not crib for small things. I feel even Vikrant never cribs when it comes to work but yes he is a doting father and he has got a mother for his son," says Eijaz.

When quizzed about his on screen chemistry with his son Eijaz opined, "I share a very nice rapport with Eklavya. He is my son and I treat him very much like my kid. I am fond of him. We have our lunch together. I play with him and I have also taught him that never ever trust someone post 30 years. I don't want him to fall into the trap of someone else but yes I have gone through failed relationships."

Eijaz KhanSharing his knowledge about love and relationships Eijaz added, "I would say that love can happen many times.  The feeling of love should have trust and respect towards the partner. I have seen a broken relationship. My father has raised us in a very respectable manner as well as he made sure that we all bond together and I am happy and proud about it. Love can happen it should last forever and that's important. Nowadays everything is very insidious, we keep on falling in and out of love so I feel that one must leave the partner if they are not happy, rather than faking and straining two relationships."

Moving on to talk about his show's concept, "Why wouldn't I do a Punar Vivaah? I can do as many Vivaahs as possible but one thing that I believe is marriage is an over rated statement and people need patience to sustain a marriage and nowadays people don't have that much patience. So I feel that if they are not happy with their spouse one should leave and think about their life," says Eijaz.

About marriage Eijaz says he is inspired by Sonu Nigam's recent saying, "I read Sonu Nigam's very nice saying that one must have a contract in marriage for two years and if after two years if both the parties mutually decide to stay together then their contract should be renewed or else they should part ways. I totally agree with this point in life."

Furthermore, Eijaz went on to talk about his present life, "I am happy with my life and my career. There is no need for me to get married as of now and when the time comes, I  will get married and I will also  have a family. At present, I run an NGO which has 32 kids. I have seen them grow today it's my responsibility that I take care of these kids. I no longer do charity for them. I have kids, and I think of them as my loving family. I don't really need to have a new family. I am thankful to almighty for giving me whatever he has given me."

"I have tasted everything in life and I don't want to plan my future. I want to live my life every day every minute every second," he concluded.

Here's wishing Eijaz all the very best for his life!!

Lol he isn't talking about Anita. He only started dating Anita at end of Kavyanjali and broke up 2009. And he has also moved on. Besides half the article has been " misquoted ", Eijaz said so himself.
