The good-looking Dhruvee Haldankar has been seen I a host of episodic shows and has also kept the audience upbeat with her cameo performance in shows.

While in conversation with her we were surprised to know about her being a journalist before she took up acting. Today, we talk to the lady about her aspirations in the industry.

Dhruvee said, "I have a Masters' in journalism. I started my career with CNN international as a Producer, as a radio jockey with Oye FM and also anchored for Homeshop 18.

My next step towards growth was to live my dream of becoming an entertainer, a performer and pursuing the most expensive hobby which is acting. I wanted to become an actor since the time I was a child. My father being a National award winner as a cinematographer, I grew up between the lights and cameras, so acting was always on my mind."

Having worked in shows such as Savdhaan India, Aamna Samna, Kaali, Taarak Mehta ka Ootah Chasma, Bhagya Vidhata, CID, Adaalat and a host of reality shows such as Kitchen Champion - season 1, Date Trap, MTV Crunch, Dhruvee spoke about her aspirations of making it big in the industry.

She stated, "For now I am working for a big banner commercial film in my kitty titled 'Rabba Mai Kya Karun' by Sagar Arts. I hope my graph only grows and I make it big in this industry."
